Michael Meier

Michael Meier, International Affairs Attaché – Republic and State of Geneva, is a geographer with a specialization in international cooperation. He has worked with non-governmental organization, the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. For the last decade, he has focused on spatial planning in the international district of Geneva on behalf of the State and Canton of Geneva, where he also leads innovation initiatives. His work explores the potential of informational commons and free and open-source solutions, driving a deeper understanding of their applications in the public sector.
